I actually had the same reaction when I first read about it, but completely forgot it over how exciting the concept itself was.
I’m assuming that these images aren’t very true to the likeness but they could be and therefore people should’ve been asked.
To turn it around however, maybe it should also teach us that in the future leaving DNA samples of ourselves around everywhere can be dangerous, and detrimental to our private sphere. Maybe, even at some point, laws might come into place prohibiting using discarded DNA samples in this manner.

It indeed it food for thought.

Even art is beginning to evolve into something totally different which I find to be exciting. However, couldn’t this be considered a breach of privacy? Excuse me if I’m just wrong but I didn’t see anything about an agreement by these people. I don’t know how I would feel if an artist was recreating my image without letting me know. I suppose these aren’t exact likenesses, but still.
