Chicago Tribune

..now does cover stories, at least I’ve heard they didn’t do before- can anyone confirm? Mind you, either way, this is a very appealing cover story for this specific blogger, namely, me. Why, you ask? Well, if you follow my blog since some time you know I have this pet fetish for anything structured, and, boy, these garments are structured, especially the knit dress – a bit Chloe SS 12. It just gives the whole seen-a-hundred-times fashion editorial story a bit of a garment kick, at least in my opinion, which by all means is biased. And certainly the models face ( Georgina Stojilikovic) gives me the rest of the kick, even if this kick is rather amusing me than making me dream in oversized shapes; a bit of a seducing model pout and a bit of ‘I didn’t know the sun can hurt my eyes this much’. So, basically this editorial makes a round house kick right into my heart even if the combined kicks come on totally different levels. Oh on a side not, check out the red leather leggings, Evangelista editorial flashback..

  1. Oh my gosh. I know you love this editorial but the posing is SO awkward! The clothing is nice, and her face is pretty, but holy crap it makes me feel awkward just looking at her hahaha

    • Yes, but I ‘love’ this akward look, especially the one where here face looks as if she were in pain from the eyes. You know, I think that’s the charm, if any editorial has charm. That’s actually why I, slightly sarcastically, mentioned it. On the bright side, I genuinely like the clothing, and that is what counts, right? At least, that is what should count :)
