Originally a man of the sciences – he studied medicine and biology before being converted to the fashion world – he is now set to make his stand. Since 2011 he’s granted guest member status to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and can officially title his fashion haute couture. Personally I’m not certain whether it is what people consider the classic haute couture, see Dior or Chanel, but he definitely has a very artistic and clever touch which is transmitted in the collection he presented at Paris Fashion Week. What reminded me of Jasper Garvida in some instances and Thierry Mugler in others, was a mix between a powerful strong female attitude and sensual textures such as latex – see through flesh colour dress! Definitely something refreshingly unexpected.
